Yes, and that is the most useful thing about this tent. Unclip the sections and you have a play tent for a corner, a crawl tunnel that can run down a hallway, and a ball pit on its own — handy when the full set is too long to leave standing.

No — the balls are not included. The pit ships empty, and the balls in our photographs are there to show it in use. What you receive is the play tent, the crawl tunnel and the hexagon ball pit with its basketball hoop. Balls are bought separately.

Because the set is stocked two ways. The local made version is Rs. 5,500; the imported version is Rs. 6,500. Choose the one you want on this page, then tell us on WhatsApp which you picked, so the right carton is packed for you.

It is made in several colourways — red, orange, blue, light blue, purple and a black-trimmed version — all sharing the same polka dot pattern and the same layout. Tell us your preference and we will confirm what is in stock, as it varies by batch.

Laid out end to end the tent, tunnel and pit make a long run, so most homes set it up along a lounge or a corridor rather than inside a bedroom. If floor space is tight, use two of the three pieces and store the third.

Each part of this tent has a sprung wire frame sewn into the fabric, so all three spring open by themselves. Folding down means twisting each piece into overlapping rings — worth practising once in advance rather than working it out at a birthday party.

Around three and up for the full set. The tunnel suits the youngest end and the basketball hoop holds older children, so it works well where there is a gap between siblings and one toy has to satisfy both.

On grass or a smooth terrace, yes. Keep it off gravel and rough concrete, which wear through the fabric floor of the pit, and bring the set indoors afterwards rather than leaving it standing out in sun or rain.
