The flat, stacked clay bead bracelet is the one girls trade with their friends at school, and this kit holds everything needed to make a stack of them. Eighteen compartments are filled with flat round clay beads, each its own colour: navy, grey, sky blue, red, violet, magenta, brown, peach, blue, orange, pink, hot pink, tan, white, teal, yellow, lilac and baby pink.

A fourth row of six trays is for the beads that make a bracelet personal. There are white letter cubes with coloured letters, pastel letter cubes, letter cubes with little hearts and flowers, two trays of round white letter beads and a tray of bright smiley and flower beads. Spell a name, a best friend's initials or a short word such as LOVE between the plain colours.

The two large compartments at the bottom hold the working parts. One has a spool of Crystal Tec 0.7 elastic cord, so a finished bracelet simply stretches over the hand with no clasp needed. The other has a pair of small pink scissors, two plastic bead tweezers, cowrie shell charms, gold spacer beads, gold and silver jump rings, lobster clasps and short extension chains for a neater, adjustable finish.

Everything sits in a clear organiser box with a carry handle and two clip latches, so the beads go back into their own colours when the session is over instead of rolling under the sofa. It is a good rainy-day or holiday activity for sisters and cousins to share, and a ready birthday gift for a girl who likes making things.

With small beads and real scissors inside, we suggest it from 6 years, with an adult nearby for younger children. Order the clay beads bracelet making kit at Rs. 1,850 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Hyderabad and Sialkot; stock, city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.
