A small cream teddy bear peeks out of a raspberry-red bear hoodie: round bear ears on top, a cream band framing its face, soft pink cheeks and a little stitched nose and mouth. The suit covers the whole body, with a big white oval on the tummy, and the hood even has its own bear face stitched on top. It comes in two sizes, 30 cm for Rs. 1,999 and 40 cm for Rs. 2,675, with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan.

The costume is what makes this bear. It reads as a little character rather than a plain teddy, and the deep berry colour stands out on a white bed, a gift table or a shelf of other plush toys.

Choose the size by how it will be used. The 30 cm is easy for a toddler to carry around and works well as an add-on to a bigger present; the 40 cm is a fuller armful for bedtime and the better pick when the bear is the main gift. In the photos with two bears, the larger one is the 40 cm and the smaller one the 30 cm.

There are no batteries, sounds or lights, so nothing beeps at night and it can stay in bed with a child until morning. We recommend it from 3 years, and it looks just as much at home on a teenager's desk.
