Most bubble toys are shaped like weapons. This one is shaped like a snail, and that single decision changes who it suits. There is no barrel and no pistol grip — the child holds a smooth cream stem that widens at the base like a mushroom stalk, presses a small round button with a thumb, and bubbles drift out of the snail's snout.

The shell is the clever part. It is a clear, moulded dome that holds the bubble solution and sits visibly on the snail's back, so a child can see at a glance how much liquid is left rather than shaking a solid tub and guessing. Under the shell the body is finished in soft cream, with a wide coloured skirt around the base patterned with darker spots — the same silhouette as a mushroom cap, which is what the whole toy reads as from a distance.

Two eyes on short stalks lean forward over the snout, each with a black slit pupil that gives the toy a slightly sleepy expression. The nozzle itself is a raised ring on the side of the head with a small opening at its centre. Everything is rounded; there are no corners, clips or sliding parts on the outside of the body.

It is produced in two colourways — a purple version and a turquoise one — with the same cream body under both. Because the whole thing is held rather than aimed, it works well for younger children who find a trigger awkward, and for anyone who would rather their toddler was not walking around pointing something gun-shaped at guests.

Bubble solution behaves the same way whatever the toy looks like: it leaves a slippery film on hard floors and a faint haze on glass. Use it on a lawn, a rooftop or a courtyard, keep the dome upright when it is not in use so the liquid does not seep out around the seal, and rinse the snout under a tap if the nozzle clogs after a long session.
