Every child who has watched a crane at a building site or a loader clearing a road will recognise this set: four chunky yellow construction trucks with green cabs and parts. There is a crane truck with a long boom and a hook, a dump truck with an open load bed, a cement mixer with a big green drum and a front loader with a wide bucket.

The twist is that they come apart. Each truck is held together with chunky grey plastic bolts, and the set includes a toy screwdriver and a double-ended wrench to undo them. Children take the wheels off, lift parts away, and then build the truck again, which is a different game from just pushing a car along the floor.
