Description

Fifteen kinds of pollution in a grid of photographs, each named in English with the Urdu beside it: air, water, noise, industrial, medical, thermal, land, radioactive, plastic, environmental, soil, agriculture, sea and chemical, plus a diagram panel headed Pollution Sources and Effects. It is a science-lesson chart, not a nursery one, and it is priced like a nursery one.

The categories go well past what a school textbook usually lists. Medical pollution — a bin of used syringes — and thermal pollution from power-station cooling towers are the sort of thing a Class 5 project needs and cannot easily find a picture of. Noise pollution gets a traffic photograph with a sound-wave overlay, which is a hard idea to picture and this manages it.

There is one misprint: the second panel reads Wate Pollution rather than Water. Its Urdu name, پانی کی آلودگی, is correct, as are the other fourteen English names. The diagram panel is the only one with no Urdu label, because it is a labelled illustration rather than a single photograph.

Be clear about who this is for before you order. Some of the photographs are strong: the radioactive panel shows a fireball, the medical one shows clinical waste, and the sea panel shows a shoreline of rubbish. That is the right register for a middle-school science wall and the wrong one for a nursery, so we would not hang it in a room of four-year-olds.

For a Pakistani classroom the relevance is direct. Smog, canal water, plastic and crop spraying all appear here, and the agriculture panel shows a man spraying a field in a mask — a picture most children in this country have seen from a car window. A teacher can move from the sheet to the street outside in one sentence.

No size or paper weight is printed anywhere on the sheet, so we quote neither. The Pollution Wall Chart is a printed sheet inside a purple border. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the copy in hand before it is packed.

It is Rs. 195 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, from Lahore and Karachi to Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Stock and your city's delivery charge are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs

How many types of pollution does it cover?

Fourteen named types across fifteen panels, the fifteenth being a Pollution Sources and Effects diagram. They are air, water, noise, industrial, medical, thermal, land, radioactive, plastic, environmental, soil, agriculture, sea and chemical.

Is there a spelling mistake on it?

One. The second panel is printed Wate Pollution instead of Water Pollution. The Urdu name on that panel is correct, and the other fourteen English names are spelt properly.

What age is the Pollution Wall Chart for?

Class 4 upwards. Several photographs are strong, including clinical waste and a radioactive fireball, so it belongs on a science wall rather than in a nursery.

Are the panels photographs or drawings?

Photographs on all fourteen named panels. Only the Pollution Sources and Effects panel is an illustration, because it is a labelled diagram of how pollution moves rather than a single scene.

Does every panel have an Urdu label?

Every named type does. The Pollution Sources and Effects diagram is the one exception and carries its English heading only, since the labels inside the illustration are already in English.

Is it useful for a school project?

That is its best use. Medical, thermal, radioactive and agriculture pollution each get a clear photograph, and those are precisely the categories a pupil struggles to illustrate from a textbook.

What size is the chart?

No measurement is printed on the sheet, so we will not quote one. Send us a WhatsApp message and we will measure the copy we are holding before your order is confirmed.

How do I put it up?

There is no adhesive on the back and no fixing method printed on it, so we claim none. Corner tape or a clip frame is what a school normally uses for a chart of this kind.

Can I pay cash on delivery for Pollution Wall Chart in Pakistan?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.

How fast is delivery in Pakistan?

Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
