Description
A box of Deli HB writing pencils in the Memphis series, named after the eighties design movement the packaging is copying — purple squiggles and yellow blobs on a blue grid. Under the artwork it is a plain, honest school pencil: HB graphite, round barrels, and four pastel colours that make it easy to tell whose pencil is whose in a shared pencil box.
The box front carries the whole specification. It prints HB, GRAPHITE PENCIL and the model number C093, and beside them two panels reading FREE with a sharpener and an eraser drawn in. Both are packed in with the pencils, so a child who turns up to class with this box does not need anything else in their hand.
The barrels are round rather than triangular or hexagonal, and each one is printed deli, the HB grade badge, and GRAPHITE PENCIL C093 down its length in white. Green, blue, pink and yellow are the four colours photographed here. They are supplied unsharpened, which is what the free sharpener in the box is for.
It is worth comparing against the other Deli HB pencil we stock.
