Description
This is a gift-grade case rather than a working kit you throw in a bag. The wood is stained dark, the lid carries the Faber-Castell crest, and the drawers pull out on both sides so every medium is laid flat and visible at once instead of being dug out of a tin.
What it contains is a whole studio in one box. The upper tray holds the monochrome side: Castell 9000 graphite pencils, Pitt charcoal, Pitt oil-base pencils, sanguine and sepia chalks, a metal double-hole sharpener and a kneadable eraser. The drawers below carry the colour side, rows of artists' colour pencils with pastel sticks running through the middle channel.
Having graphite, charcoal, chalk, pastel and colour pencil in one case matters more than the piece count.
