The giraffe pop tube toy is a cheerful giraffe with a spotted body and a smiling face, but its arms and legs are the fun part: four ribbed pop tubes that stretch, bend and hold whatever pose a child puts them in. Each limb ends in a suction cup, so the giraffe can stick to a window, a tiled wall, a mirror or the side of a bath.

The pop tubes are the same ribbed tubes sold as sensory fidgets, and they make a soft popping sound as they are pulled out and pushed back. A tube that measures about 5.5 cm pushed in stretches to about 21 cm, so the giraffe can reach its arms up high, cross its legs, form a heart shape with its arms, or join hands with a second giraffe in a circle.

Standing, the giraffe pop tube toy is about 18.5 cm tall and 14 cm across with its arms out. It comes in pink, blue, purple or yellow, each with matching tubes and a contrasting face, and one colour is sent at random.

It is made of durable plastic and needs no batteries. Children use it for stretching and popping, for building poses and stories, and for sticking on the car window on a long drive.

Suction cups hold best on smooth, clean glass or tiles; wet them slightly for a stronger grip. The toy is recommended for children aged three and above.
