Pressed flat into a disc and spinning, the trick that makes the press and spin fidget ball different.
Description
The press and spin fidget ball is a toy that changes shape in your hand. It starts as a round, segmented ball about 6.4 cm across, with a gear-shaped collar and a round button on top. Press down and the segments fold outward and the ball flattens into a wide disc; set that disc on a table and flick it, and it spins like a top.
The segments slide on tracks inside the ball, so the change from ball to disc is smooth and the click as it locks into each shape is part of the fun. Children tend to press, spin, reset and repeat for far longer than they would play with a simple spinner, because the shape keeps changing.
It is made of durable ABS plastic in two contrasting colours, and the colour pairs include purple with green, orange with green, blue with yellow, green with purple and red with yellow. One colour is sent at random.
At about 6.4 x 6.1 cm it fits a child's palm and a school bag pocket, and it needs no batteries or charging. Spinning works best on a smooth, flat surface like a desk or a tiled floor.
It is recommended for children aged three and above. Like any toy with moving segments, it should be pressed and pulled, not stood on or thrown against a wall.
