In a country that argues every summer about Chaunsa versus Sindhri, a mango squishy was always going to sell. This one is shaped like a whole ripe mango, with the green shoulder near the stalk blending into yellow and a deep orange blush, exactly how a mango looks the week it is ready to eat.

It is a slow-rising squishy with a soft, matte, faintly textured skin like fruit peel. Push a thumb deep into it and the dent stays while you watch, then the surface fills back in over a few seconds.
