Tiles set out the question and sticks answer it, so a child checks their own work by counting instead of waiting to be marked.
The full set beside its printed box: the digits 1 to 9 and 0, the plus, minus, multiply, divide and equals tiles, and the red, blue, green and yellow sticks.
Description
A child who writes 3 + 5 = 8 in a copy has done handwriting. A child who lays out three red sticks, five blue sticks, pushes them together and counts eight has done arithmetic. This box exists for that second thing. It holds wooden number tiles, the five operator tiles, and four colours of thin counting sticks in a divided tray, and the whole point is that the sum on the table can be checked by counting rather than by an adult saying yes or no.
The tiles carry the digits 1 to 9 and 0 in thick red print, plus plus, minus, multiply, divide and equals. A child sets out a sum tile by tile, then answers it in sticks underneath. Multiplication becomes four rows of three, not a table to memorise. Subtraction becomes sticks taken away and physically moved to the side.
The sticks come in red, blue, green and yellow, and the colours do more work than they look like they do. Grouping by colour is how a child gets to counting in tens without being taught to; sorting by colour is a job a much younger sibling can do at the same table; and matching colour to colour keeps a five-year-old checking their own rows.
The tray itself keeps this from becoming a floor-sweeping exercise. Four compartments hold the sticks by colour and four more hold the tiles, so everything goes back where it came from and nothing rolls under the sofa. Sticks are round, thin and light, which is exactly why the box carries its own warning.
That warning is printed on the pack and we will repeat it rather than bury it: CHOKING HAZARD — small parts, not for children under 3 years, and the box marks the set Ages 3+. Use it at a table with an adult in the room, and count the sticks back into the tray when you finish. It is the only care this toy needs; there are no batteries and nothing to charge.

FAQs
What is inside the Counting Sticks Box?
Wooden number tiles for the digits 1 to 9 and 0, operator tiles for plus, minus, multiply, divide and equals, and counting sticks in four colours, all in a divided wooden tray.
How many sticks are in the set?
No total is printed on the box or the tray, so we do not state one. What the photographs show is four filled compartments, one per colour, with plenty for the sums a primary-school child will build.
Which sums can a child actually do with it?
Addition, subtraction and simple multiplication work best, because each of those can be laid out in sticks and counted. Division works as sharing sticks into equal rows rather than as a written method.
What age is printed on the box?
Ages 3+, and the box also prints CHOKING HAZARD — small parts, not for children under 3 years. Keep it to a table with an adult in the room and count the sticks back in afterwards.
Are the sticks and tiles wooden?
Yes. The box marks the set as wooden, and the tiles show plain wood grain around the printed numerals with the sticks painted in four flat colours.
Is this a Montessori-style material?
It follows the same idea — a quantity you can hold before a symbol you have to trust — though it is not sold as a Montessori material and carries no such marking on the box.
Does it help with school homework?
It helps most with the step before homework: understanding what the sum means. Once a child can build 4 x 3 in rows of sticks, the written version stops being guesswork.
Is a lid or cover included?
The photographs show the open tray and the printed outer box, so plan on storing the tray inside that box rather than relying on a sliding lid.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Counting Sticks Box in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
