For the child whose every drawing has a rocket in the corner, this is a small piece of space that lives on the desk. The Qihao series — the box banner reads out space friends eraser — has three characters: a waving astronaut, a red rocket, and a one-eyed green alien with little red horns. Rs. 385 buys one boxed figure, supplied assorted.

Each figure earns a second look. The astronaut stands mid-wave with a moulded control panel on his chest, and appears in two variants — one with a silver-grey visor and red belt, one with a navy visor and blue belt. The rocket wears a white nose cone over a red body, with a sky-blue porthole and four blue fins it stands on. The alien is a green egg on legs: one wide eye, a gap-toothed grin and horns that mean no harm.

Every character ships standing in its own clear-fronted Qihao display box with space artwork along the bottom — the same window-box format as our animal ice-cream figures, which makes the two series natural partners for siblings' gifts. Nothing needs wrapping; the box does the presentation.

These are eraser rubber through and through, so they will lift pencil marks — but a waving astronaut is a terrible shape for neat corrections, and children know it. Expect the figure to guard the pencil pot while a plain rubber does the homework. The figures are moulded in fitted sections, so keep them with school-age owners rather than mouthing toddlers.

Safencia lists the space eraser at Rs. 385 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. WhatsApp confirms stock and which of the characters are currently on the shelf before dispatch.
