Half animal, half dessert: each of these erasers is a chunky rubber character built into an ice-cream. The series has four designs — a pink bear rising out of a yellow waffle cone, a white cat sitting in a pink cone with a red bow, a blue penguin whose body is the scoop, and a unicorn hugging a purple macaron. Rs. 385 buys one figure, assorted from whatever is on the shelf.

The modelling is the whole appeal. The cat wears a strawberry on her head, the bear has a swirl of cream between his ears, the penguin's cone carries proper criss-cross waffle lines, and the unicorn's macaron shows its filling between two purple shells. Every face is printed with the big-eye, pink-cheek look, and the details read clearly from across a classroom — which is where most of these end up.

Each character arrives in its own clear-fronted box from the Qihao Sweet Ice Cream range, so the figure is visible without opening anything. That window box quietly solves the gift problem: it hands over as a birthday or return gift exactly as the courier delivers it.

On the practical side, the rubber does erase pencil — but you would be scrubbing homework with a character's cone rather than a flat edge, and no child does that twice to a figure they like. Buy it for the desk, the pencil-case collection or the prize box, and let a plain rectangle handle the rough work.

The characters are assembled from fitted rubber sections and carry small moulded details like the strawberry and the penguin's yellow hat, so treat them as stationery for school-age children rather than something for toddlers who still chew.
