Ten animals, all drawn as babies rather than adults: a fox sitting with its tail curled round, a panda on its bottom with pink paw pads, a spotted calf, a baby elephant with pink ears, a puppy with a collar, a young rhino, a fawn with small antlers and white spots, a tiger cub, a zebra foal and a giraffe. Every one is a separate foam cut-out with the shading and outlines moulded into it.

Drawing them young is not just a style choice, and it is the reason this set works where a plain animal chart does not. A cub with a big head and short legs is read as a baby by a two-year-old before they know the word tiger, and children reliably name the ones they have never seen faster than they name a realistic drawing. That head start is the whole value in a nursery.

One thing to know before you order: the set comes with no name labels. There are no plaques and nothing printed beside the animals, so if you want the words on the wall you will need to write them yourself. Some teachers prefer that — they add the names in Urdu and English on card — but if you were expecting labels in the box, they are not there.

Because every animal is its own piece, the set does not have to go up as a row. Schools scatter them across a whole wall, run them round a doorframe, or put three in one corner and keep the rest for a story-corner display. A single fox on the wall by a book shelf is doing a different job from ten in a line, and this set lets you choose.

The cut-outs are the largest pieces in this range and the detail is moulded rather than printed — the panda's paw pads, the giraffe's patches, the zebra's stripes all stand slightly proud, which means they survive being touched by a class every day where a printed sticker would rub away at the edges.

Nothing has an adhesive backing and no size is printed on any animal or on the red banner, so we claim neither. Safencia sells the set at Rs. 1,820 with Cash on Delivery all over Pakistan — WhatsApp us and we will confirm stock, measure an animal and give you your city's delivery charge before dispatch.
