City Transport puts a whole little town's worth of traffic into one bag: a long white bullet train, a green airport bus, a red ambulance, a blue ladder truck, a yellow security truck and a small green recycling bin. Six pieces, enough for a child to build a road, a station and an airport on the drawing room carpet.

Each vehicle is different, which is what keeps the game going. The bullet train carries a high-speed rail livery and the number 24. The airport bus is bright green with the word AIRPORT down its side. The ambulance has a red cab, a white body and a hook arm on top, the ladder truck has a sky blue cab and a white folding ladder marked fire rescue, and the security truck has a yellow cab and a white armoured box with little windows.

The bin is the small surprise in the set. It is a green wheelie-bin shape with a recycling symbol and the word ORGANIC printed on it, and children use it the way real streets do: parked at the corner, knocked over by the bus, collected by the trucks.

There is no motor and no battery in any piece. These are free-wheel vehicles that children push along with their hands, so the speed is whatever the child makes it, and nothing needs charging or winding. The header card describes small parts that swing; the white ladder and hook arm sit as separate pieces on top of their trucks.

The set comes in a clear bag with a printed card on top, so it is easy to give as a gift. The card is marked for ages 3 and up and talks about hand-eye skill, thinking and observation, which is a fair description of what happens when a three-year-old lines up a train, a bus and three trucks and tells you where each one is going.

The City Transport set is Rs. 1,450 for all six pieces. Order with Cash on Delivery anywhere in Pakistan, from Karachi and Lahore to Islamabad, Peshawar and Multan; stock, city and the delivery charge are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.
