Each of these little cars has an animal at the wheel. Press the car down, let go, and it rushes forward on its own; there are no batteries to fit and nothing to charge. It is the simplest kind of moving toy, which is exactly what makes it right for a toddler who has just discovered that pushing makes things go.

There are four to choose from, each with a job. The blue police car is marked PC and police, with a cream bear driving and a badge on the side. The white doctor's car is marked DOC and DOCTOR, with a brown bear and a red cross. The red fire car is marked FB and FIRE, with a grey koala, a printed ladder and two little fire extinguishers on the side. The yellow engineer's car is marked ENG and ENGINEER, with a tiger at the wheel and the number 09.

All four share the same friendly build: a rounded body, a big printed grille for a face, fat black tyres on grey hubs, and a driver with a large head, small ears and rosy cheeks. The colours are bold and simple, so a small child soon knows the police bear from the fire koala by sight.

Small children play with them in a happy loop: press, watch it go, fetch it, press again. That repetition is how toddlers learn that their own action makes something happen, and chasing the car across the room keeps a new walker on the move. Older children use the cars in story play, sending the fire koala to a fire and the doctor bear to a patient.

Each car is sold on its own at the same price, so you can choose a favourite, buy two for a race between siblings, or collect all four as a little rescue team. We suggest them from 2 years.

The price is Rs. 750 for one car, with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, from Karachi and Lahore to Islamabad, Peshawar and Bahawalpur. Stock, the design you want, your city and the delivery charge are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.
