Cretacolor MEGA Graphite is the oversized pencil in this batch: a noticeably thicker grey barrel and broad graphite core designed for artists who want more contact with the page. It can still be held and directed like a pencil, but the larger body makes broad hatching, weighty contours and wider shaded passages feel different from a standard slim grade.
Five grades are available—HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 9B—and each costs Rs. 350. HB keeps the mark comparatively restrained, 2B and 4B sit in the versatile middle, while 6B and 9B are the softer choices for darker graphite. One pencil in the selected grade is supplied.
