The full display: a foam plant in a deep red pot carrying seven flowers, one for each day from Monday to Sunday.
Description
A plant grows out of a deep red pot, and on the end of each of its seven brown stems is a flower carrying one day of the week. Monday is yellow at the top of the plant, then Wednesday in blue and Friday in pink down one side, Sunday in green at the bottom, and Saturday in purple, Thursday in orange and Tuesday in red coming back up the other. Three small red birds fly around the display.
Growing the days on a plant rather than listing them in a row is what makes this stick with a four-year-old. A list has a start and an end and nothing in between; a plant has a shape a child can point at, and the day they are looking for lives in a place they can remember. Ask which flower is Friday and a class that has had it on the wall for a month points without reading.
Every day name is printed in black curving round the petal ring, with the flower's dark centre inside it, so the word and the colour arrive together. Children who cannot read yet learn the days as colours first — the yellow one at the top, the green one at the bottom — and the word underneath takes over later without anyone switching charts.
Everything is a separate cut-out: the pot, the stems, the seven flowers and the three birds. That means the plant can be built tall in a narrow gap beside a door or spread wide across a low wall, and the flowers can be taken down one at a time. Hiding one and asking which day is missing is the exercise this set is really for.
If you already have the days-of-the-week ducks from this same range, note that they teach the same seven words in a completely different picture — a row of ducks rather than a growing plant. Schools sometimes take one for the nursery and one for Class 1 so the two rooms are not looking at the same display.
Nothing has an adhesive backing and no size is printed on any piece or on the red banner, so we claim neither. FAQs
What comes in the set?
A deep red pot, brown stems, seven day-flowers — Monday to Sunday — three small red birds and a red title banner, all as separate foam cut-outs.
What colour is each day?
Monday yellow, Tuesday red, Wednesday blue, Thursday orange, Friday pink, Saturday purple and Sunday green, with the day name printed round each petal ring.
Why a plant rather than a row?
Because a plant gives each day a place a child can point at. A class that has had the Days of the Week Flowers on the wall for a month finds Friday before it can read the word.
Can the flowers be taken off?
Yes. Every flower in the Days of the Week Flowers set is its own cut-out, so a teacher can hide one and ask the class which day is missing.
How is it different from the days-of-the-week ducks?
They teach the same seven words in a different picture — a row of ducks rather than a growing plant. Schools sometimes buy one for the nursery and the other for Class 1.
What age does it suit?
Nursery to Class 1, roughly three to six. Younger children work by colour and position, older ones read the printed day name.
Does it come with adhesive?
No. Nothing in the set has a sticky backing and no fixing method is printed on it, so we make no claim. With the pot, stems and flowers separate, a pencil outline first helps.
How big is the assembled plant?
That depends on how you space the stems, and no measurement is printed on the pieces or the banner. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure a flower and the pot from stock.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Days of the Week Flowers in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
