Windy, snow, rainy, foggy, cloudy, sunny and rainbow, each with its own raised foam picture.
The full wheel: a blue foam disc of eight wedges, each with a weather word in yellow and a raised picture inside it.
Description
One blue disc, divided into eight wedges, with a weather word curving round the rim of each in yellow capitals and a raised foam picture inside it. Reading round: WINDY has a green tree bending over grass. SNOW has a grey cloud dropping white dots. RAINY has a cloud with white teardrops. FOGGY has a grey cloud with a face and two yellow shapes. CLOUDY has three white clouds. SUNNY has a red and yellow sun with a smiling face. RAINBOW has a full arc between two white clouds.
The circle is the point. Weather is not a list, it is a thing that comes round again, and a wheel says that in a way a row of cards cannot. Nursery classes use it as a daily ritual — someone looks out of the window, walks to the wheel, and names the wedge. A child who does that every morning for a term owns all eight words without a single lesson being taught.
The eighth wedge needs explaining before you buy. Its word reads WEATHER rather than a weather type, and the picture inside it is a brown branch with red, yellow, pink, blue and green leaves — autumn foliage rather than a sky. It looks as though it was meant to say something like SEASON. It is still perfectly usable: most teachers treat it as the label for the whole wheel and talk about the changing leaves, but if you were counting on eight distinct weather types, this one gives you seven.
The banner above it is printed WEATHERS SYMBOLS, one S too many. The words inside the wheel are all spelled correctly, which is where the teaching actually happens.
Every picture is layered foam rather than flat print — the raindrops, the snow dots and the sun's rays all stand off the blue disc, and the clouds sit above the sky behind them. That depth is what makes the wheel readable from the back of a room and what lets a small child find a wedge by touch as much as by sight.
There is nothing adhesive on the back and no size is printed on the disc or the banner, so we claim neither. A round board is easier to hang from a single central point than a rectangle. FAQs
What weather types are on the wheel?
Seven: windy, snow, rainy, foggy, cloudy, sunny and rainbow, each with a raised foam picture inside its own wedge.
The wheel has eight segments — what is the eighth?
Its word reads WEATHER rather than a weather type, and the picture is a branch of autumn leaves. It looks as though it was meant to say something like SEASON, so the Weather Wheel gives you seven distinct types, not eight.
Why does the banner say WEATHERS SYMBOLS?
It is a printing slip with one S too many. Every weather word printed inside the Weather Wheel itself is spelled correctly, which is where the teaching happens.
How do classes usually use it?
As a daily ritual. One child looks out of the window each morning, walks to the wheel and names the wedge — which teaches all seven words over a term without a formal lesson.
Is there a spinning pointer?
No. The Weather Wheel is a fixed disc with no moving arrow, so children point at the wedge rather than turning anything. Nothing on it rotates.
Are the pictures printed or raised?
Raised. Raindrops, snow dots, clouds and the sun's rays are all layered foam standing off the blue disc, which is why it reads from the back of a room.
Does it come with adhesive?
No. Nothing on the back is sticky and no fixing method is printed on it, so we make no claim. A round board hangs easily from one central point.
What size is the wheel?
No measurement is printed on the disc or the banner, so we will not quote one. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the stock in hand before you order.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Weather Wheel in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
