A rainbow caterpillar, ladybird, butterfly, spider, bee and grasshopper, all standing clear of a white board.
The full board: six minibeasts raised on white foam, from a rainbow caterpillar to a green grasshopper.
Description
Six creatures, all raised off a plain white board so they stand clear of it. A rainbow caterpillar arcs across the top with a yellow smiling face and a segment in every colour. Beside it a red ladybird with black spots and two feelers. Below, a butterfly with orange and yellow target-pattern wings, and a spider with a striped purple body and long black legs. At the foot, a black and yellow bee and a green grasshopper with a red back and folded legs.
Two things a teacher should know before the lesson, and both are worth the price of knowing. The banner is printed INSETS rather than INSECTS. And the spider on the board is not an insect at all — it has eight legs where an insect has six, which makes it an arachnid. Neither is a reason to avoid the chart. The spider is, in fact, the most useful thing on it: a class asked to count the legs on each creature finds the odd one out themselves, and that is a better lesson than any correctly-printed board would give them.
The caterpillar earns its place the same way. It is a larva rather than an adult insect, so the board quietly contains the whole life-cycle story — caterpillar and butterfly, both present, waiting for someone to connect them.
Everything is mounted on one white board, so nothing can be lost and the layout stays as it is. That makes this the reference chart on the wall while loose sets do the handling. The white background is deliberate too: against it the colours read from the back of a classroom in a way they would not on a patterned wall.
Each creature is built from layered foam rather than printed flat, so the ladybird's spots, the caterpillar's segments and the spider's stripes all sit at slightly different heights. Young children run a finger over them, which is exactly what you want from a nursery wall.
Nothing on the back of the board is adhesive and no size is printed on it or on the red banner, so we claim neither. Safencia sells it at Rs. 1,050 with Cash on Delivery all over Pakistan — message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm stock, measure the board and give you your city's delivery charge before dispatch.

FAQs
What is on the chart?
Six creatures raised on a white board: a rainbow caterpillar, a red ladybird, an orange and yellow butterfly, a purple-striped spider, a black and yellow bee and a green grasshopper.
Is the spider really an insect?
No, and that is worth using rather than hiding. A spider has eight legs where an insect has six, so it is an arachnid. Ask a class to count the legs on the Insects Chart and they will find the odd one out themselves.
Why does the banner say INSETS?
It is a printing mistake for INSECTS. The creatures on the board are drawn correctly; only the title on the red banner is misspelt.
Are the creatures loose or mounted?
Mounted. The Insects Chart is one white foam board with all six raised on it, so nothing can be rearranged or mislaid over a school year.
Is the caterpillar an insect too?
It is the larva of one. Having both the caterpillar and the butterfly on the same board means the life cycle is already there for a teacher to point at.
What age does it suit?
Nursery to Class 3, roughly three to eight. Younger children name the creatures, and older ones use the leg-counting question to sort insects from everything else.
Does it come with adhesive?
No. Nothing on the back of the board is sticky and no fixing method is printed on it, so we make no claim. Double-sided tape or glue dots are what schools normally use.
What size is the board?
No measurement is printed on the board or the banner, so we will not quote one. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the Insects Chart in stock before you order.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Insects Chart in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
