Description
Two different erasers in one sealed pack, and Faber-Castell is specific about what each is for. The red and blue combination eraser handles pencils, colour pencils and ink. The white block in the green sleeve is for blacklead and colour pencils. The card states both, in German and English, beside each one.
The red end of the combination eraser lifts graphite; the blue end is abrasive and is meant to take ink off, which it does by removing a thin layer of paper along with it. That end wants a light hand on thin notebook paper.
The white 188121 is the one you will reach for most. It is the plain, soft block Faber-Castell describes as clean and smooth erasing — no colour transfer, no scrubbing, and a paper sleeve that slides down as the block wears.
