Coloured gears fill both decks behind see-through windows, with more visible from above through the open roof panels.
The Gear Retro Bus switched on: coloured gears glow behind the windows on both decks, and the grey side door stands open.
Description
The Gear Retro Bus is a double-decker toy bus built so a child can see how it works. Every window on both decks is see-through, and behind them sits a stack of coloured gears in blue, teal, orange, red and grey, with more visible from above through the open roof panels. The box calls it an interactive geared bus with precision gear structure rotation, designed to simulate the real thing.
It is styled like an old-fashioned bus rather than a modern one: a cream body dotted with moulded rivets, a yellow band running between the decks, a grey radiator grille, round headlamps and chunky grey hubcaps on black tyres. At the back there are red and amber tail lamps and a pair of grey rear doors.
A small orange butterfly key fits into the side of the bus. The instruction panel on the box shows it turning a three-position switch with three settings: rotating mode, off, and an automatic presentation mode. The icons on the box mark the bus for rotation, light and sound, and the gears glow from inside when it is switched on.
Switched on, the bus drives itself across the floor and turns to set off in new directions, so a toddler can chase it round the room. It plays music and sound effects, and it has a refuelling game: the bus asks to be refuelled, then announces when the refuelling is done, which turns any bus ride into petrol-station role play. It runs on 3 AAA cells, the small size used in most TV remotes; the cells are not included, so buy them with the bus.
Little hands get plenty to do between modes. The grey side door near the back swings open on its hinge above a set of boarding steps, the wheels roll, and the see-through decks make every bus ride a chance to point at a gear and ask which way it is turning.
That question is the quiet value of a gear toy. Watching one gear drive the next is the first look most children get at cause and effect in machines, long before they meet it in a science book, and the bright colours make each gear easy to follow.
We recommend it from three years. It suits a toddler's birthday, an Eid gift for a child who loves buses, or a shelf toy for an older child who likes machines.

FAQs
What do the three switch positions do?
The box names them as rotating mode, off, and automatic presentation mode. You choose between them by turning the orange key that fits into the side of the Gear Retro Bus.
Does the Gear Retro Bus move on its own?
Yes. Switched on, it drives itself across the floor and turns to head off in all directions, so a child can chase it round the room instead of pushing it.
Does the gear bus have lights and sound?
Yes. It has lights, music and sound effects, plus a refuelling game where the bus asks to be refuelled and then announces that the refuelling is done. The gears inside both decks are lit from within.
What batteries does it take?
The Gear Retro Bus takes 3 AAA cells, the small size used in most TV remotes. The cells are not included in the box, so add a pack to your order or pick some up before it arrives.
Can my child see the gears turning?
Yes, that is the point of the toy. The windows on both decks are see-through, with the gears directly behind them, and the open roof panels show more gears from above.
Does the door open?
Yes. The grey side door near the back of the double decker opens on a hinge, with moulded boarding steps underneath it.
Is it a London bus?
It is a classic double-decker shape, but it is cream with a yellow band rather than London red, with a grey grille and round headlamps that give it its retro look.
What age is the Gear Retro Bus for?
We recommend the Gear Retro Bus from three years. The orange key is a small separate piece, so keep it with an adult when a younger toddler is playing.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Gear Retro Bus in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Stock, city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days across Pakistan.
