A cream board full of holes on a teal base, with a carry handle built into the back.
The Little Engineer box, its Screw Slot pattern card and the pegboard built up with plates, screws, a flower and a butterfly.
Description
Little Engineer is a screw puzzle from the Puzzle Series Creative Mosaic range. A cream pegboard on a teal base, with a carry handle at the back, is covered in holes; children choose coloured plastic plates, line them up over the holes and fix them down with chunky cross-head screws, using the toy screwdriver and wrench that come in the box.
The box calls it 2D/3D screw assembly, and that is the difference from a flat peg puzzle. In 2D, a yellow square and a teal triangle screwed side by side become a house on the board. In 3D, a small bracket lifts a stack of round discs off the surface to make a pinwheel flower, or two wings stand up as a butterfly.
The plates come in circles, squares, triangles and straight strips with two, three or four holes, in yellow, red, dark blue and teal. The screws are a mix of the same colours plus black, so the screw heads become part of the picture.
A Screw Slot pattern card gives the first ideas: a dog, a cat, a bulldozer, an apple, a cherry tree, a flower and a butterfly. Most children copy two or three, then start inventing their own, which is where the toy earns its place on the shelf.
There is no electric drill in this set. Every screw is turned by hand with the plastic screwdriver, which is slower than a battery drill but is the real wrist-turning practice a three- or four-year-old needs, and it means nothing here runs out of charge.
The box is marked Ages 3+ and measures about 27.2 by 26.5 by 7 cm. The screws are small, so play at a table and count them back into the bag afterwards.

FAQs
What does 2D/3D screw assembly mean on the Little Engineer box?
In 2D, children screw coloured plates flat onto the pegboard to make pictures such as a house. In 3D, brackets lift plates off the board so they can build upward, like a flower or a butterfly with standing wings.
Does the Little Engineer set come with an electric drill?
No. It comes with a plastic cross-head screwdriver and an orange wrench, and every screw is turned by hand. Nothing in the set uses batteries.
What makes up the 217 pieces?
The Little Engineer set is sold as 217 pieces. The count covers the pegboard, the screwdriver and wrench, the coloured shape plates and the bag of screws; the screws and plates make up most of it.
What can children build with it?
The pattern card shows a dog, a cat, a bulldozer, an apple, a cherry tree, a flower and a butterfly. After those, children combine the circles, squares, triangles and strips into their own pictures and models.
What age is the Little Engineer screw puzzle for?
The box is marked Ages 3+. Three-year-olds start with flat 2D pictures, and five- and six-year-olds move on to 3D builds with brackets. The screws are small, so supervise younger players.
How big is the Little Engineer box?
About 27.2 cm by 26.5 cm and 7 cm deep. The pegboard inside is a little smaller and has a carry handle at the back.
Is it a screen-free toy?
Yes. It has no screen, sound or batteries. It is a sit-down building activity that keeps hands busy with a screwdriver, plates and screws.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Little Engineer Screw Puzzle in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Stock, city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days across Pakistan.
