Description

You are looking straight into an open mouth. The pink lips frame it, the upper and lower gums curve round in red with the teeth set into them, the ridged palate arches across the top in blue, the soft palate and uvula hang down in purple, and the tongue fills the lower half. Ten labels point into it: upper lips, under lip, teeth with three tooth types bracketed beneath it, jaw, uvula, tonsil, tongue and gingiva.

It is the chart to reach for when a class needs to be told why brushing matters. The gingiva is labelled separately from the teeth, so the line between gum and tooth — where trouble actually starts — has a name a seven-year-old can use. The tonsil is marked on both sides, which turns the usual sore-throat conversation into something a child can point at.

The mouth is assembled from cut foam in layers rather than drawn. The gums sit above the throat behind them, the tongue above the gums, the uvula above that, and the ridges across the palate are moulded lines you can catch a fingertip on. Held at an angle, the whole mouth clearly has depth, and that depth is what makes it read from the back of a room.

Three of the labels are bracketed together under teeth to name the tooth types, and here the printing lets the board down. The first reads Iincisor with a doubled letter instead of incisor, the second reads canine teeth correctly, and the third is misprinted badly enough that it does not spell a dental term at all. We are telling you now rather than letting you find it in front of a class. Everything else on the board is labelled cleanly.

The back of the board is plain foam with nothing adhesive on it, and no size is printed on the board or the red banner, so we describe neither. Tape or glue dots are how these normally go up. WhatsApp us before ordering and we will measure the piece that is in stock.

Why this product is worth considering

A Mouth Seen From the Front

Lips, gums, teeth, palate, soft palate, uvula, tonsils and tongue in one open-mouth view rather than a side section.

Gums Labelled Separately

Gingiva has its own label apart from teeth, which gives the gum line a name when you are teaching a class why brushing matters.

Tonsils Marked

The tonsil is pointed out at the side of the throat, so the usual sore-throat conversation has something a child can point at.

FAQs

What is labelled on the Oral Cavity Chart?

Upper lips, under lip, teeth with three tooth-type labels bracketed beneath, jaw, uvula, tonsil, tongue and gingiva, each joined to the part it names.

Are the tooth-type labels printed correctly?

Two of the three are not. The first reads Iincisor with a doubled letter instead of incisor, and the third is misprinted badly enough that it does not spell a dental term. Canine teeth is correct.

Is the mouth flat or built in layers?

Built in layers. On the Oral Cavity Chart the gums sit above the throat, the tongue above the gums and the uvula above that, so the whole mouth has real depth.

Is it useful for teaching brushing and dental care?

Yes, and that is its best use. Because gingiva is labelled separately from teeth, a child can be shown exactly where the gum meets the tooth and why that line needs the brush.

Which class does the Oral Cavity Chart suit?

It works from the nursery years for a simple naming lesson and stays useful into middle school, where the palate, uvula and tonsil come up in the digestive and respiratory chapters.

Does it come with adhesive?

No. The back of the board is plain foam and nothing about mounting is printed on it, so we make no claim. Double-sided tape or glue dots are the usual method.

What size is the board?

No measurement is printed on the Oral Cavity Chart or its banner, so we will not quote one. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the stock in hand for you.

Is there a model code?

Yes, FS-45, printed in the blue oval at the end of the red banner. Quote it when reordering so the identical board arrives.

Can I pay cash on delivery for Oral Cavity Chart in Pakistan?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.

How fast is delivery in Pakistan?

Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
