Five-pointed foam stars in several sizes and a full spread of colours — blue, purple, green, yellow, red, pink, orange and black — and with them one yellow crescent moon with a sleeping face drawn on it. That single moon is the whole design. Without it you have a bag of shapes; with it you have a night sky, and every star in the pack suddenly has somewhere to be.

A crescent and stars is not a neutral picture in Pakistan. It is on the flag, it goes up for 14 August, and it is what schools reach for when a Ramadan display is wanted. One pack covers all three and then goes back in the box until the next occasion, which is why it tends to be reordered rather than replaced.

The second place these end up is the ceiling, and nothing else in this range works there. A reading corner or a quiet area with stars overhead reads as a different kind of space to a child lying underneath it, and foam is light enough to stay up on a ceiling where anything heavier would eventually come down on someone.

Then there is the use schools discover by accident. A star is the oldest reward there is. Hand one to a child who has done good work and let them carry it home, or stick one beside a name on the board, and the decoration you bought in September has quietly become the whole good-work system by November. Foam survives being pushed into a school bag; a paper star does not come out the other end.

About the quantity: no number is printed anywhere on this pack, and counting loose scattered shapes off a photograph is not a way to promise anyone anything. Tell us on WhatsApp before you order and we will count the pack that is physically in stock and tell you the real figure.

Nothing has an adhesive backing and no measurement is printed on the pieces or the red banner, so we claim neither. Safencia sells the pack at Rs. 530 with Cash on Delivery all over Pakistan, with stock, a measurement and your city's delivery charge settled on WhatsApp before dispatch.
