The Stencil Design Ruler turns a blank notebook page into a small pattern playground. Its orange rectangular template combines circular guides and assorted geometric cut-outs, while three different toothed wheels add a hands-on way to build repeating rosette-style designs.

Place a wheel inside the matching guide, hold the main stencil steady and move a pencil through one of the wheel holes as it rolls around the track. Changing the wheel, pencil hole or starting point creates a different repeated line pattern. The supplied photos show sample designs so children can understand the kind of results the set can make.

Beyond the wheel activity, the main ruler includes round openings in several sizes and smaller decorative shapes. These can be traced individually for school projects, borders, labels, cards and drawing practice. The straight outer edge also provides a simple guide when a neat line is needed.
