Ten rods with ten beads apiece, counted row by row off the frame in our own photographs.
All ten rows, each carrying its own colour from red at the top to magenta at the bottom, on a frame left in natural timber.
Description
One hundred beads on ten rods, ten beads to a row, counted off the frame. What separates this one is that every row is a different colour — red, orange, yellow, lime, green, blue, purple, teal, deep blue and magenta running top to bottom. Not five colours repeating, but ten distinct ones.
That sounds cosmetic and is not. When a child says eight, an adult can say the eight on the green row, and both of them are looking at the same thing. On an abacus where five colours repeat twice, the green row is ambiguous — there are two of them — and a teacher ends up counting rows down from the top every time instead of naming one.
The frame is unpainted hardwood throughout: uprights, rods, crossbars and feet. The feet are shaped and splayed so the whole thing stands square on a table and does not walk about while a child slides beads across it. That matters more than it sounds — an abacus that shifts under the hand is one a child stops using.
Look at the photographs and you will see the beads arranged as a staircase: one across on the top row, two on the next, three on the third and so on down. That is not a styling choice, it is the first thing a teacher does with it. The staircase makes the number sequence visible as a shape rather than as ten separate counts.
We already sell a red-framed abacus at Rs. 1,900 with the same one hundred beads, and the two are genuinely different objects. That one has a painted red frame and its beads run through five colours twice. This one is bigger in the hand, unpainted, and colour-codes every row uniquely. Buy on which of those two things you need.
No size, weight, wood type or safety marking is printed anywhere on the frame, and no box appears in any photograph, so we claim none of them. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will measure the frame from the stock in hand before you order.

FAQs
How many beads does it have?
One hundred — ten rods carrying ten beads each, counted row by row from our photographs rather than taken from a supplier listing.
How is this different from your Rs. 1,900 abacus?
That one has a painted red frame and runs five bead colours through its ten rows twice. The Ten-Colour Abacus is unpainted hardwood and gives every row its own colour, so no two rows look alike.
Why does a different colour per row matter?
It lets an adult name a row out loud — the eight on the green row — and be understood. When colours repeat, green means two different rows and a teacher has to count down from the top instead.
Is the frame painted?
No. Uprights, rods, crossbars and feet are all left in natural timber; only the beads carry colour. That is the quickest way to tell it apart from our red-framed abacus on a shelf.
Does it stand up on its own?
Yes, on shaped feet that splay out at the base. They keep the Ten-Colour Abacus square on a table rather than letting it rock while a child slides beads from one side to the other.
What age suits it?
Three upwards for sliding and colour naming, and it keeps working through the early primary years as a counting, addition and subtraction frame.
What size is it?
No measurement is printed on the frame and no box appears in the photographs, so we will not quote one. Message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the frame in stock before you order.
Does it come boxed?
No carton appears in any of our photographs, so we do not claim one. It ships in our standard protective packing.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Ten-Colour Abacus in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
