Hexagon, square, heart, triangle, star, circle and more — a child places twelve by shape before they can read twelve as a numeral.
The complete board seen flat, with all twelve numbers seated in their shaped recesses and the red and blue hands set across the printed hour ring.
Description
Every number on this clock is a different shape, and that single decision is what makes the board work. Twelve is a hexagon, three is a square, seven is a heart, nine is a triangle. A child who cannot yet read numerals still knows the star goes at eleven, so they can complete the clock face before they can tell the time on it.
The twelve pieces lift out of shaped recesses around the border, so the board is a shape sorter first and a clock second. A wrong number will not sit flat in the wrong recess, which means the child gets corrected by the board rather than by an adult leaning over them.
In the middle sit two movable hands on a green centre boss — a short red hand for the hour and a long blue one for the minutes. Around them is a printed hour ring and, inside that, a second ring marked in five-minute steps. That inner ring is what carries a child from o'clock and half past into quarter to and twenty-five past.
The order in which it usually gets used is worth knowing. A two-year-old takes the twelve shapes out and posts them back. A four-year-old lines the numbers up in sequence. A five or six-year-old turns the hands and reads off the time. The same Rs. 999 board covers all three, which is not true of a plastic clock with fixed numbers.
The board is a square of natural wood with a hand-painted red zigzag border and small printed spirals in the gaps, and the number pieces are painted in strong flat colours. It lies flat on a table and is thin enough to slide onto a bookshelf, and there are no batteries or moving parts beyond the two hands.
The dial carries the alatoys maker mark. No age is printed on the board; we suggest three years and up, with an adult nearby for a younger child, since the number pieces are small. The Safencia price is Rs. 999 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

FAQs
What shapes are the numbers on the clock?
All twelve differ. Among them are a hexagon, a square, a heart, a triangle, a star, a circle, a pentagon and a rhombus, so each number can be found by its outline alone.
Do the clock hands actually move?
Yes. A short red hour hand and a long blue minute hand turn on a green centre boss, so a child can set a time and an adult can check it.
Does the clock show minutes as well as hours?
It does. Inside the printed hour ring there is a second ring marked in five-minute steps, which is the part that takes a child beyond o'clock and half past.
Can a child use the clock board before they know numbers?
Yes, and this is how most start. Each number piece is a different shape, so a two-year-old posts them back into their recesses by outline long before the numerals mean anything.
What happens if a number is put in the wrong place?
It will not lie flat. Each recess is cut to one shape only, so the board shows the mistake by itself and the child corrects it without being told.
What age is the wooden learning clock for?
No age is printed on it. We suggest three and up, with an adult nearby for a younger child. Two and three year olds use it as a shape puzzle, and five and six year olds use the hands to read time.
Does the clock need batteries?
No. Nothing in it is electronic — the hands are turned by hand and there is no sound, so it works during load shedding and makes no noise at bedtime.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Wooden Learning Clock in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
