The reason this page is worth reading even if you have never heard of the brand is the arithmetic. Six 75 ml tubes is 450 ml of paint. At Rs. 1,820 that works out to Rs. 303.33 a tube and Rs. 4.04 a millilitre — and Rs. 4.04 is the lowest price per millilitre of any acrylic tube we sell. What you are not buying at that price is documentation. There are no pigment index codes, no lightfastness ratings and no opacity marks anywhere on the pack or the tubes — the information our Daler-Rowney System 3 tubes print on every label. Nor is there a colour code, so a tube cannot be reordered by number; you would order it by describing the colour. For a great many jobs that does not matter at all.

Where it does matter is longevity. A paint with no stated lightfastness is a paint whose fade behaviour nobody has promised you, so this is the wrong choice for work that will hang in a sunlit room for years. It is the right choice for school and college projects, backdrops, props, murals, craft, board and canvas practice, and anywhere you are going to use a lot of paint and use it up.
