Before mobile phones every house had a desk telephone with a handset on a curly cord, and toddlers still find that shape irresistible. This musical toy phone brings it back with a twist: the whole phone is a smiling cat, with pointed ears, whiskers, a curly tail sticking up at the back and four wheels underneath.

The handset is printed PHONE and joined to the body by a yellow cord, so a child can lift it, hold it to their ear and hang it back in its cradle — the most satisfying part of playing telephones. Next to it sits a cream keypad with twelve round buttons carrying pictures of a baby, animals, a bus, weather, a call button and more.

The buttons play music and sounds, which some sellers describe as a piano phone. Pressing them introduces cause and effect to younger babies, while older toddlers make pretend calls to grandparents, the doctor or the pizza shop.

Because it sits on wheels, it can also be pushed along the floor, so the toy moves from the lounge to the bedroom with its owner. It comes in teal with orange ears and in soft pink with cream ears.

It is battery operated, and the cord is short enough for small hands. An adult should supervise babies with any corded toy.

The Safencia price is Rs. 1,750 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Choose teal or pink on WhatsApp and we confirm stock, city and delivery charge before dispatch.
