This bunny is dressed for a day out. It has tall orange ears, a round orange hood framing a cream face with rosy cheeks, a blue bib printed Dancing Rabbit, a pinwheel in one hand and a little blue handbag with a smiling face in the other.

Switch it on and it dances: it steps from one big orange shoe to the other and swings its arms while music plays and small lights flash on its bib. It is not a plush toy you cuddle but a moving plastic figure that performs, which is why children tend to dance along with it.

That is the real appeal for parents. A dancing toy gives a toddler a reason to get up and move, copy the steps and clap along, and it does it without a screen. It is also a simple way to keep a younger sibling happy while the older one does homework.

The figure stands on wide flat feet, so it keeps its balance while it dances on a table or a hard floor. It is made of rounded plastic, and the pinwheel and bag are part of its hands rather than loose accessories.

It is battery operated, and the battery compartment is on its back. It is sold for children aged three and up.
