This set puts six farm animals in one bag: a red horse with a black mane and tail, a white ram with curled grey horns, a white dog with pink ears and tail, a yellow goat with horns and a beard, a black and white cow, and a white cow with pink patches. Every animal stands on its own four legs.

The figures are moulded with texture you can feel, the ram's woolly coat, the dog's shaggy fur, the horse's mane, the cows' udders and the goat's beard, so small hands get as much from them as small eyes do. The colours are bright and playful rather than true to life, which young children usually love.

These are the animals a Pakistani child actually meets at a village visit, a Bakra Eid mandi or a relative's farm, which makes them a natural set for first words in both English and Urdu. Ask which animal gives milk, which one says baa, and which one a farmer rides.

They come in a clear bag with a hanging header card printed Animal Kingdom, which keeps all six together on the shelf. There are no batteries and nothing to put together, so the set is ready for a pretend farm made from a shoebox and a few blocks the moment it is opened.

We suggest the set from three years, and it makes a good gift for a child who has just started naming animals.

The farm animals toys set is Rs. 1,190 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Okara. Stock, your city and the delivery charge are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.
