Room for both hands, so beginner songs with a left-hand part fit on the keys.
The white TLC Q-903 keyboard piano in front of its box, which lists 49 keys, 10 demos, 8 tones and 8 rhythms.
Description
This is the TLC Electronic Keyboard, model Q-903: a white kids keyboard piano with 49 keys, teal button pads and a round speaker grille at each end. It is the bigger of our two TLC keyboards, and a USB cable comes in the box, so it can be played the day it arrives.
Forty-nine keys is four octaves. That leaves room for the left hand to hold a low note while the right hand plays the tune, which is how beginner piano lessons and online tutorials are taught. A child who has outgrown nursery songs on a smaller keyboard keeps going on this one.
The box lists what the panel does: 8 tones that change the sound of the keys, 8 rhythms that start a backing beat, 10 demo songs, adjustable volume, record and play, a metronome, and sync, chord and programme functions. Record and play is the easy one to start with: press record, play a tune, and the keyboard plays it straight back.
The metronome is worth knowing about if your child is starting lessons. It ticks a steady beat to practise against, so a song stays in time instead of speeding up on the easy bits.
Power is simple. The USB cable runs the keyboard from a phone charger plug, a laptop or a power bank, and for cordless play it takes 3 AA batteries, which are not included. There is also a mic jack on the left of the panel.
The keyboard is 53.7 cm long, so it sits on a table, a bed or the floor, and it comes in a box of 60.5 x 8 x 22 cm that is easy to wrap as a birthday present.
We suggest it from three years. Younger children enjoy the demo songs, rhythms and recording, and children of six and over can use the full four octaves to follow beginner songs. The TLC 49 Keys Keyboard Piano is Rs. 5,299 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar. FAQs
How many keys does the TLC Q-903 keyboard have?
It has 49 keys, which is four octaves. It is a children's electronic keyboard rather than a full 88-key piano, but four octaves is enough for two-handed beginner songs.
Does the 49 keys keyboard piano need batteries?
Not if you use the USB cable that comes in the box: plug it into a phone charger, a laptop or a power bank. For cordless play it takes 3 AA batteries, which are not included.
What can the keyboard do besides play notes?
The box lists 8 tones, 8 rhythms, 10 demo songs, adjustable volume, record and play, a metronome, and sync, chord and programme functions. Record and play lets a child hear back the tune they just played.
What does the metronome do?
It plays a steady tick to practise against. A child learning a song keeps an even beat with it instead of rushing the parts they already know.
How big is the 49 keys keyboard?
The keyboard is 53.7 cm long, and its box measures 60.5 x 8 x 22 cm. It fits on a table, a bed or the floor.
What age is the TLC 49 keys keyboard for?
We suggest it from three years. Younger children enjoy the demo songs, rhythms and recording; children of six and over get the most from the four octaves when they start learning real songs.
Should I buy the 49 keys or the 37 keys keyboard?
Choose the 49 keys Q-903 for a child who wants to learn songs with both hands: it adds an octave, and its box lists 8 rhythms and a metronome. The 37 keys TLC keyboard is smaller and cheaper, comes with a microphone, and suits a younger child's first keyboard.
Can I pay cash on delivery for TLC 49 Keys Keyboard Piano in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Stock, city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days across Pakistan.
