Digital proportional is the phrase printed across the LH-1302 box, and it is the specification worth paying for. On a cheap helicopter the throttle is effectively a switch: the rotors are either climbing or falling. Proportional control maps how far you move the stick onto how fast the rotors turn, so you can hold a height by feel instead of pumping the stick up and down and hoping.

The airframe weighs 86 grams. That number explains most of how this helicopter behaves — it is light enough to bump a wall and bounce rather than break, light enough that nobody gets hurt if it lands on them, and light enough that any breeze at all will carry it away. It is an indoor machine, and the small house icon printed on the box says as much.

The transmitter takes six AA batteries rather than a rechargeable cell. That is a genuine advantage in practice: the handset never runs flat mid-session and never needs its own charging cable, and AAs are available in every corner shop in Pakistan. The helicopter itself has a built-in battery that fills in about forty minutes and gives six to seven minutes of flying.

Throttle sits on the left stick, which is the standard convention used on full-size radio-control helicopters. It matters if the pilot might ever move up to a larger machine — the muscle memory transfers instead of having to be unlearned. Control range is around fifteen metres and it will climb to roughly ten, which is a hall or a courtyard rather than an open field.

Multi colour means the livery varies by batch. The two we photograph are the green and yellow version and the orange, red and blue version, both with the same twin coaxial rotors, horizontal stabiliser and tail rotor. The box is marked fourteen and up and describes a new durable structure design.
