Pigment ink is the phrase to notice. A dye ink is a colour dissolved in liquid and it fades and bleeds; a pigment ink carries solid particles that sit on the paper. Nothing further is printed on this barrel about permanence, so that is as far as we will take it — but it is the reason this is sold as a drawing pen rather than as a writing pen.

Buying singly makes sense when you already know what you need. Most people who draw in ink live on two or three widths, and replacing the 0.3 you finished for Rs. 590 beats buying a set of nine to get one pen.
