The UNO Dare! box with a fanned hand of cards and three cards in front: a red +2, a yellow 4 and a blue 0.
Description
UNO Dare! keeps the matching game every family knows and adds a bit of nerve. You still play a card that matches the colour or number on the pile and still shout UNO with one card left, but some cards now ask you to take a dare, and others give you a choice of how to play them.
The dare cards are what make a round memorable. One printed example reads Swap hands with any player, which can hand your worst cards to the person about to win. Moments like that turn a quiet game into a table full of groans and laughter, and nobody feels safe until the last card is down.
Many number cards carry a second option too. A green card printed +2 or #8 can be played either as a draw two against the next player or as an ordinary number 8, so you decide on the spot whether to attack or simply keep your hand moving.
The box prints 2 to 10 players and ages 7 and up, and the rules take a minute to explain to anyone who has played UNO before. It suits teenagers, cousins and friends who want a louder, more social version of the game.
Please note what comes in the box: the UNO Dare! card deck and its instructions. Some of our photos also show a metal card case, dice and coins as styling around the cards; those are not part of this pack.
