Orange a, red e, green i, black o and blue u fanned out behind the bird, one vowel to a feather.
The full cut-out: a yellow foam ostrich in a purple hat with five fanned feathers, one vowel on each in white lowercase.
Description
One bird, five feathers, five vowels. The ostrich stands in the middle in yellow with a purple top hat, a red wattle, green wing patches and purple feet, and the word VOWELS across its body. Behind it five long teardrop feathers fan out — orange with a, red with e, green with i, black with o and blue with u — each letter in white lowercase.
The reason this works better than a list is that a child remembers a picture. Ask a five-year-old how many vowels there are and they count the feathers. The five colours give the memory a second handle: the vowel on the green feather, the vowel on the black one. A printed line of five letters gives a child nothing to hold on to.
The letters are lowercase, which matters more than it looks. A child meets vowels while learning to read words, and words are written in lowercase — a chart in capitals teaches the shape they will not actually see on a page. This one gets that right.
It takes very little wall. The whole thing is a single fanned cut-out that fits above a door, beside a whiteboard or in the gap between two bigger charts, which is exactly where a small reminder belongs. It is also the natural pair for the vowels turtle, and many schools buy both so the same five letters appear twice in a room without either display being repeated.
The bird and each feather are separate foam pieces, so the fan can be opened wider or narrower to fit the space. Nothing has adhesive on the back and no size is printed anywhere on it, so we state neither. Double-sided tape or glue dots hold it perfectly well — ask on WhatsApp and we will measure the pieces in stock.

FAQs
Which letters are on the Vowels Ostrich?
The five vowels a, e, i, o and u, one on each tail feather, printed in white lowercase on orange, red, green, black and blue.
Are the letters capital or lowercase?
Lowercase. That is the right choice for a vowels chart, because children meet vowels while sounding out written words and words are written in lowercase.
Is it one piece or several?
Several. The bird and each of the five feathers are separate foam cut-outs, so the Vowels Ostrich can be fanned wider or tighter to suit the space you have.
Should I buy this or the vowels turtle?
They teach the same five letters in different characters. Many schools buy both so the vowels appear twice in a room without repeating the same picture. Pick by which animal your class prefers.
How much wall does it need?
Not much — it is designed for the gap above a door or beside a whiteboard. No exact dimension is printed on it, so message us on WhatsApp and we will measure the Vowels Ostrich in stock.
What age is it for?
Four to seven. It suits the stage where a child has learned the alphabet and is starting to sound out words, which is when vowels first need singling out.
Does it stick to the wall by itself?
No. Nothing on the back is adhesive and no fixing method is printed on the pieces, so we make no claim. Double-sided tape or glue dots hold it well.
Is a model code printed on it?
Yes, FS-28, in the yellow oval at the end of the red banner. Quote it and the same cut-out comes back.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Vowels Ostrich in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
