Front cover of the Canson Montval 300gsm 12-sheet cold-pressed watercolor spiral pad.
Description
The Canson Montval Watercolor Spiral Pad is an iconic French fine art paper designed originally by painter Gaspard Maillol at the turn of the 20th century. Each pad contains 12 sheets of 300 g/m² (140 lb) heavyweight, cold-pressed (Grain Fin) watercolor paper bound in a sturdy wire spiral spine.
Renowned worldwide as the ultimate 'forgiving' watercolor paper, Montval features exceptional lifting capacity ('Se Corrige Facilement'). Artists can wash out errors, lift highlights with a damp brush, or wipe away color with a sponge without damaging the paper surface or causing unsightly pilling.
The 300gsm paper weight provides supreme resistance to buckling and warping, even under generous wet-on-wet watercolor washes, heavy gouache applications, and multiple glazing layers. It offers a bright natural white surface that enhances color purity and transparency.
The cold-pressed fine grain texture strikes a versatile balance: it provides gentle tooth to capture granulating pigments and atmospheric washes while remaining smooth enough for crisp botanical details and technical fineliner linework.
Constructed with a durable metal spiral binding and micro-perforated pages for clean sheet removal at the verified Safencia price of Rs. 3,750, it is an essential watercolor block for serious painters across Pakistan.
Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan. Stock, city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch, with delivery taking 3-5 working days nationwide.
