Description

This is the jar most Pakistani school art actually gets done with. Rs. 75 for 30 ml of poster colour, sold one shade at a time, in a glass jar with a white ribbed screw cap that survives a school bag. When black runs out three days before a chart is due, you replace black — not a whole set.

The label reads Classic POSTER COLORS under the Art brush logo, with the shade name and its number printed at the foot: BLACK 10, WHITE 01, RED 07, YELLOW 02, BLUE 05, BROWN 14, GREEN 12, LIGHT GREEN 11, ORANGE 04, PINK 09, BABY PINK 08, LIGHT PURPLE 15 and GREY. Thirteen shades are photographed in our set. Two of them — the grey and the baby pink — carry the range's generic rainbow label, so their shade name is printed on the cap rather than the front.

Poster colour is not watercolour and the difference matters for the work it is bought for. It dries flat and opaque, so a second colour laid over the first covers it instead of mixing through it, and large blocks of even colour stay even. That is exactly what a school chart, a science-fair poster or a hand-painted sign needs, and exactly what a transparent watercolour cannot give.

The price is the argument here. At Rs. 75 for 30 ml this works out to Rs. 2.50 per millilitre. The artist-grade poster colours on the same shelf — Sakura at Rs. 550 a jar and Pentel at around Rs. 675 — are close to Rs. 18 to Rs. 22.50 per millilitre, seven to nine times as much. That gap is real and so is the difference in pigment quality: buy Classic for school work and quantity, buy Pentel or Sakura when the piece is going to be judged on its colour.

The label prints (CHEMICALS), 30 ml and MADE IN JAPAN. We are telling you what the jar says rather than making a claim of our own about where it was manufactured. Tell us the shade you want on WhatsApp when you order, and keep the cap screwed down — poster colour skins over quickly in a jar left open.

It suits school and college students from about 6 years up with adult supervision. The Safencia price is Rs. 75 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan. Stock, the shade you want, your city, and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

Why this product is worth considering

Replace One Shade Only

Sold as a single jar, so the black that ran out the night before a chart is due costs Rs. 75, not a whole new set.

Thirteen Shades

Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Brown, Green, Light Green, Orange, Pink, Baby Pink, Light Purple and Grey are all photographed in our set.

Flat and Opaque

Dries to an even, covering finish, so one colour laid over another hides it instead of mixing through — what charts and signs need.

Numbered Labels

Each shade carries its own number on the label, so a repeat order matches the colour you already have.

FAQs

Which shades of Classic Poster Colour can I order?

Thirteen are photographed in our set: Black 10, White 01, Red 07, Yellow 02, Blue 05, Brown 14, Green 12, Light Green 11, Orange 04, Pink 09, Baby Pink 08, Light Purple 15 and Grey. Send the shade name on WhatsApp when you order.

How is poster colour different from watercolour?

Classic Poster Colour dries flat and opaque, so a second layer covers the first rather than blending through it. Watercolour stays transparent, which is why charts, posters and signs are painted in poster colour instead.

Why is it so much cheaper than your Pentel and Sakura jars?

Classic Poster Colour is Rs. 2.50 per millilitre against roughly Rs. 18 to Rs. 22.50 for those. It is a school-grade colour bought for quantity; Pentel and Sakura are artist-grade and the pigment quality is where the difference goes.

Do I mix it with water?

A little water loosens Classic Poster Colour for smoother brushing, but too much thins the opacity that makes it worth using. Add water a few drops at a time and stop as soon as it flows off the brush.

Why do two jars have a plain rainbow label?

The grey and the baby pink jars in our photographs carry the range's generic label with no shade name on the front — the name is printed on the cap instead. Both are still Classic Poster Colour and the same Rs. 75.

Does the label say where it is made?

The label on Classic Poster Colour prints (CHEMICALS), 30 ml and MADE IN JAPAN. We are quoting what is on the jar rather than making our own claim about the manufacturing origin.

How do I stop it drying out in the jar?

Screw the cap down firmly after every session. Poster colour skins over quickly once air reaches it, and a jar left open on a table overnight is the usual reason half a jar is wasted.

Can I pay cash on delivery for Classic Poster Colour 30 ml in Pakistan?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.

How fast is delivery in Pakistan?

Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch, including which shade you want. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
