Description
A rectangular wooden storage box from Cretacolor, printed with the brand name and a QR code on a label fixed to the lid. The lid lifts off as a separate box-within-a-box piece with its own brass hinge and clasp, rather than swinging open on a fixed hinge — our photographs show it removed and standing to one side, and also lying flat, open end up.
The joints at the corners are visible dovetails, cut rather than glued flush, which is the traditional way to build a wooden box that will not pull apart at the seams under repeated opening. A cream canvas strap threads through a hole near one end for carrying the box by hand or hanging it.
It is sold as the box itself. No interior fittings, dividers or foam insert are shown in our photographs, so it holds whatever is placed inside loose — brushes, pencils, pastels or similar long, slim art tools sized to fit the interior.
