Description

Five round foam heads on wooden dowel handles, stepped in size from a small dot to a wide dome. Each head is a rounded ball of foam rather than a flat sponge pad, which is what makes it a dabbing tool: pressed straight down onto paint and then paper, it stamps a soft-edged round dot instead of a brushstroke.

This is the tool behind dot-pattern and stipple painting — flower petals, leaf clusters, texture fills and pointillism-style pictures built up from repeated dabs rather than drawn lines. Our photograph shows the set stamping a flower made entirely from dabbed dots in different colours and pressures, which is the technique the graduated sizes are for: the smallest head for petal centres and fine detail, the largest for broad background dabbing.

The foam heads take poster paint, acrylic and water colour well. Rinse a head between colours or let paint dry and it stiffens the foam, so cleaning between uses is worth doing if the set is going straight back into a paint session.

No handle length or head diameter in millimetres is printed on the set in our photographs, so we do not quote exact measurements — the size range is what the photographs show, smallest to largest.

Rs. 350 for the set of five. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, and stock and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs

What is a dabber brush used for?

Pressed straight down onto paint and paper, a round dabber brush stamps a soft-edged dot instead of a brushstroke — the technique behind flower petals, leaf clusters, texture fills and dot-pattern pictures.

How many sizes are in the set?

Five, stepped from a small dot head to a wide dome, so one set covers fine detail through to broad background dabbing.

What paint can I use with it?

Poster paint, acrylic and water colour all work with the foam heads. Rinse a head between colours, and clean dried paint off promptly since it stiffens the foam.

How is this different from a foam sponge brush?

A flat sponge brush lays colour in a stroke; this round dabber set has a ball-shaped head built to stamp a dot when pressed straight down, which is a different technique.

What size heads are in the set?

No diameter in millimetres is printed on the set in our photographs, so we do not quote exact measurements — the range runs from a small dot head to a wide dome, as shown in our photographs.

Do I need special paper for dot painting?

No, any paper that suits the paint type you are using works. Our photograph shows the technique on plain paper.

How do I clean the foam heads?

Rinse promptly after use. Dried paint stiffens the foam, so cleaning between colours and after a session keeps the heads soft and usable.

Can I pay cash on delivery for Round Dabber Foam Brushes in Pakistan?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.

How fast is delivery in Pakistan?

Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities.
