A long flat carton, printed 36 OIL COLOURS beside the Graduate Oil wordmark, with a window down the top edge showing every tube's shade name. The pack states 36 x 22ml and 0.74 US fl oz, and then the figure that matters: Total 792ml, 26.64 US fl oz.

That total is the reason to consider it. 792 ml is more oil colour than every other oil set on our shelf whose volume is printed on the box, added together. If you are working at size, teaching a group, or simply tired of running out of white halfway through a canvas, this is the box that ends that problem.

At Rs. 24,500 it works out at Rs. 30.93 a millilitre and Rs. 680.56 a tube. Set against our student oil sets - Keep Smiling at Rs. 3.89 a millilitre and Sensa at Rs. 4.83 - that is roughly eight times the price, and it is worth being clear about what the gap buys: stronger pigment loading, a far wider chosen range, and consistency between tubes and between batches.

Graduate is Daler-Rowney's introductory artist range rather than their top line, and we would rather you knew that before spending this much. What it does exceptionally well is breadth. Thirty-six shades means the greens, the greys and the mid-tones are already in the box, so a landscape is mixed from close neighbours rather than built out of six primaries and hope.

The tubes are white with the Graduate branding, which is worth knowing because Daler-Rowney's Georgian range uses silver tubes - the two cartons look alike on a shelf and the tube colour is the quickest way to tell them apart in a photograph.

Oil colour thins and cleans with turpentine or a painting medium rather than water, and we stock turpentine from Rs. 200 and linseed oil from Rs. 299. We list this set from 12 years up. The Safencia price is Rs. 24,500 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, and stock, your city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.
