Three balls per clear tube under a metal ring-pull lid, exactly like a tin of proper tennis balls. Press the lid back on to keep the rest clean.
Fine Gold 68mm tape balls sealed three to a tube, with the metal ring-pull lids and the red Fine Gold logo visible through the clear plastic.
Description
This is the Fine Gold ball that arrives sealed. Three balls sit inside a clear tube closed with a metal ring-pull lid, the same way proper tennis balls are sold, and you get two tubes in the six-ball pack. Pull the ring, take a ball, press the lid back on and the other two stay clean, round and out of the dust until you need them.
That packaging is most of what you are paying for, and it is worth being straight about it. Six of these cost Rs. 2,400 against Rs. 1,650 for a pack of six loose 74mm Fine Golds. If you are going to use all six this month, buy the loose ones. If you want a tube that lives in a kit bag, gets given as a gift, or sits on a shop shelf looking like something, this is the one.
The ball itself is a different animal from the big 74mm. It measures 68mm and weighs about 55g, which puts it close to the dimensions of a real tennis ball. Lighter and smaller means it is kinder on younger arms and easier to control in a confined space, but it will not carry across a big ground the way a 70g ball does.
The rubber is pressed to an extra tight pressure and the core is moulded without a joint, so there is no seam for the ball to eventually split along. Fine Gold grade it for tournament play, and it works on any surface you put it on — concrete, tarmac, matting or grass.
The balls photographed here are yellow with the red Fine Gold crown logo on the felt, visible through the tube before you ever open it. Twelve balls, which is four tubes, costs Rs. 4,000 and works out cheaper per ball than the six.

FAQs
How many balls come in each tube?
Three. The six-ball pack is two sealed tubes and the twelve-ball pack is four. Each tube is clear plastic with a metal ring-pull lid that presses back on after opening.
Why is this more expensive than the 74mm Fine Gold?
The tin packaging. Six of these are Rs. 2,400 while a pack of six loose 74mm Fine Golds is Rs. 1,650. You are paying for the sealed tubes, which keep unopened balls clean and make the pack suitable for gifting or retail display.
How does the 68mm ball compare with the 74mm one?
It is smaller and much lighter — about 55g against roughly 70g. That makes it easier for younger or smaller players to handle, but the heavier 74mm ball carries further on a big or slow outfield.
Does the tube keep the balls under pressure?
The tube is sealed with a ring-pull lid and keeps the balls clean, round and protected in storage. What gives these balls their bounce is the extra tight pressure of the rubber itself, not the tube.
What colour are the balls?
The balls photographed here are yellow with the red Fine Gold crown logo printed on the felt, and you can see them through the clear tube before opening it.
Can these be taped up for tape ball cricket?
Yes. Electrical tape wraps straight onto the felt in the usual way. At 68mm and 55g the taped ball stays lighter than a taped 74mm, which suits younger players and narrower streets.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Fine Gold Tin Pack 68mm in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
