Every other tape ball we stock is built on a rubber core. The Big Shot is not — it is made of hard foam, and the word printed on the felt is Untearable. That single difference is the reason to choose it. A rubber ball eventually splits; foam has nothing to split along, so it takes a beating from a bat and keeps its shape instead of tearing open.

It is a full international tennis size at 68mm and weighs around 100g, which makes it dense for a foam ball. Foam does not mean soft here. This is the hardest foam Big Shot press, and it comes off the bat properly rather than floating the way a sponge ball does.

The core is moulded without a joint, so even the seam that catches out cheaper balls is not there. Between the foam and the jointless build, this is the ball to buy for children who lose or destroy balls faster than you can replace them.

Big Shot aim it at kids playing in streets and at intermediate players. It works indoors as well as out, which most rubber tape balls do not — a foam ball that is a bit slower off a wall is a great deal easier to live with inside the house.

The balls are yellow with the red and black Big Shot Untearable logo on the felt. Six cost Rs. 1,200, which is Rs. 200 a ball, and twelve cost Rs. 2,000, which brings it down to about Rs. 167 each — the best per-ball price on any felt ball we sell.

Safencia sells the six pack for Rs. 1,200 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm stock, your city and the delivery charge before dispatch.
