Peaches are the squishy that people pick up and cannot put down, and this honey peach is a good example of why. It is round and full, about 9 cm across, with the soft crease down one side that a real peach has, a sunny yellow top that deepens into a red blush at the base, and a green stalk and leaf on top.

The squeeze is slow and soft. A thumb sinks in deeply, the dent holds, and the peach puffs back up over a few seconds. The surface is matte and velvety to look at, so it reads as fruit rather than as a plastic toy, which is why so many end up on desks and bookshelves as well as in pencil cases.

It arrives protected the way real fruit is: inside a white foam net sleeve, sealed in a clear wrapper. That net keeps the soft surface from being scuffed in transit, and children tend to enjoy peeling it off as much as the squishy itself.
