This is the ice cream that does not melt in a Karachi summer. A tall soft-serve swirl in blue-and-white or pink-and-white sits on a bright yellow waffle-pattern cone, with the little curl at the top that every Mr Whippy-style cone has.

Only the ice cream part squashes. Grip the cone like a real one and squeeze the swirl, and it bulges and folds between the fingers, the colours smearing into each other, before it smooths back into its twist. The cone underneath stays firm, which gives a child a proper handle and makes the ice cream cone squishy easier to hold than a round squishy.

It measures about 8.7 cm tall and 4.5 cm across the top, small enough for a pencil box and big enough to fill a child's fist. The glossy swirl has a smooth, creamy feel rather than a foam texture.

It comes in a black window box printed Creamy Smooth Squish with a 3+ age mark and a small-parts warning, which makes it a tidy small gift. One colour, blue or pink, is sent at random.
