Description
Milan prints straight onto the rubber — MILAN 406, made in SPAIN and the barcode, all on the block itself. There is no paper sleeve, so there is nothing to slide off and lose, and the printing stays legible until the eraser has been worn down past it.
It is a white synthetic rubber block with rounded corners, and noticeably larger than the little eraser fitted to the end of a pencil. The size is the point: broad flat faces for clearing a whole line, and corners that stay sharp enough to take out a single word.
Milan numbers its erasers, which makes reordering straightforward. The 406 is this white block, the 403 Gigante is the much larger cream one, and the 1220 is the grey kneadable for artists. If you have used one before and want the same again, the number printed on the rubber tells you which.
