The motor turns a 5 mm refill at the tip, so you lift one wrong line instead of rubbing across everything around it.
The eraser out of the pack with the card behind it. The 5 mm badge sits top right, the 30 x eraser refills panel bottom right, and both refill cases are shown full.
Description
Mont Marte prints "perfect for technical drawing" on the front of the card, and that is the honest use for this. A motor turns a 5 mm round refill at the tip, so instead of dragging a block across a whole area you put a point down exactly where the line is wrong and lift only that.
For anyone shading in graphite or charcoal it does the job a block eraser cannot do at all — putting the white back. Highlights in fur, hair, glass and metal are erased in, not drawn in, and the photographs on the pack show it being used that way on a finished drawing rather than for cleaning up a mistake.
Thirty refills come with it, fifteen to a clear flip case. They are plain white sticks about 5 mm across that push into the metal collet at the tip. Only the very end ever touches the paper, so a single refill lasts a long stretch of work and thirty of them is a supply rather than a starter set.
It runs on two AAA batteries and Mont Marte states on the card that they are not included — worth adding a pair to the order. The cap at the wide end pulls off and the two cells sit inside the barrel. The body is gloss black plastic shaped to be held like a fat pen, and the card lists precision and speed, pencil and charcoal, ergonomic handle and steady control as its four points.
Safencia lists the Mont Marte electric eraser at Rs. 1,799 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Islamabad included. Be clear about what it is before you buy: a specialist drawing tool, well worth it if you shade and want highlights back, and the wrong purchase if you only need to clear pencil off school work, which a plain block eraser does better for a fraction of the money.

FAQs
What is an electric eraser actually for?
Precision — lifting a single line or a small highlight without disturbing the shading around it. It is a drawing and technical-drawing tool rather than a faster way to erase a page of homework.
Does it come with batteries?
No. It takes 2 x AAA batteries and Mont Marte prints "batteries not included" at the bottom of the card. The end cap pulls off and both cells sit inside the barrel.
How long do the 30 refills last?
A long time, because only the tip of the refill touches the paper. How fast one wears depends on how dark the graphite is and how hard you press, but thirty refills is a working supply, not a sample.
Will it erase pen or ink?
No. Mont Marte lists it for pencil and charcoal, and that is what the white refill is made to lift. For ink you need an abrasive ink eraser, which is a different product.
Is it suitable for a school-age child?
It is an art tool with a motor and a small metal collet, not a toy, and the pack carries no age marking or safety certification. Older students doing technical drawing or serious sketching will get real use from it; younger children are better served by an ordinary eraser.
Can it tear the paper?
It can if you push. Let the motor do the work and keep the pressure light — on thin notebook paper the spinning tip will burnish or go through if you lean on it. On drawing paper and sketchbook stock it behaves well.
Is it worth Rs. 1,799 when a block eraser costs a fraction of that?
Only if you draw. For erasing pencil off school work it is not worth it and a plain block is better value. If you shade in graphite or charcoal and want highlights lifted back out cleanly, nothing you rub by hand will do the same job.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Mont Marte Electric Eraser in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
WhatsApp confirms stock, selected option, city and delivery charges before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
