Description

A slim white tin with a gold-flecked watercolour fish across the lid, printed Mont Marte, Metallic Watercolour Set, Premium, and repeated as Ensemble d'Aquarelle Métallique and Set de Acuarelas Metalizadas. A gold tab in the corner reads 21 pc, and the lid itself lists what makes up that number: 18 metallic pans, 1 medium water brush, 1 sponge and 1 palette.

Every one of the eighteen is named, and that is the difference between this tin and every other metallic set we sell. The chart runs Metallic Silver, Rose Gold, Gold, Copper and Bronze; then Violet, Cobalt Blue, Phthalo Blue, Turquoise Blue and Phthalo Green; then Lime, Viridian, Carmine, Crimson and Pink; and finally Apricot, Deep Yellow and Yellow. Phthalo, Viridian, Carmine and Crimson are pigment names, not marketing ones — you can ask for the same shade again and get it.

It is also the dearest metallic on the shelf, and it is worth saying so plainly. Eighteen pans for Rs. 4,950 is Rs. 275 a pan, against Rs. 158.33 a pot for our Art Club metallic set of twelve. And our Keep Smiling 90 colour tin carries thirty-six shimmer colours inside a Rs. 3,500 box, which is a fraction of this per shimmer. If quantity of sparkle is the goal, this is not the buy.

What the money buys is repeatability and the rest of the kit. Named pigments can be matched to a colour chart; the tin includes a medium water brush that carries its own water, a sponge for blotting the brush between colours, and a separate palette rather than asking you to mix in the lid. The pans themselves sit in a tray with mixing space beside them.

Metallics behave differently from ordinary watercolour and the format follows from that. Mica settles, so a metallic wash wants to be stirred in the pan and laid in one pass rather than worked; the sponge is there because a loaded metallic brush carries far more pigment into the next pan than a transparent one does.

We list this set from 8 years up. The Safencia price is Rs. 4,950 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, and stock, your city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs

What makes up the 21 pieces?

The lid lists it: 18 metallic pans, 1 medium water brush, 1 sponge and 1 palette. Eighteen plus three is the twenty-one printed on the gold tab.

Which eighteen metallic colours are included?

Metallic Silver, Rose Gold, Gold, Copper, Bronze, Violet, Cobalt Blue, Phthalo Blue, Turquoise Blue, Phthalo Green, Lime, Viridian, Carmine, Crimson, Pink, Apricot, Deep Yellow and Yellow.

Why does it cost more than your other metallic sets?

Because the colours are named and the kit is complete. The Mont Marte Metallic 21pc works out at Rs. 275 a pan against Rs. 158.33 a pot for our Art Club metallic twelve, and it adds a water brush, sponge and palette.

Is it better value than the Keep Smiling 90 colour tin?

Not on quantity. That tin carries thirty-six shimmer colours inside a Rs. 3,500 box. This one is the buy when you need a specific metallic shade repeatedly rather than a wide spread of sparkle.

Does it come with a brush?

Yes, a medium water brush that holds its own water in the barrel, so metallics can be painted away from a table without carrying a jar.

What is the sponge actually for?

Blotting the brush between colours. Metallic paint carries a great deal more pigment on a loaded brush than transparent watercolour, so one pan will contaminate the next without it.

How do metallic watercolours behave differently?

The mica in them settles, so a metallic wash is best stirred in the pan and laid in a single pass. Working it over repeatedly drags the flake about and dulls the flash.

What age is this set for?

We list the Mont Marte Metallic 21pc from 8 years up. Named pigments and a separate palette suit someone working deliberately rather than a young child.

Can I pay cash on delivery for Mont Marte Metallic 21pc in Pakistan?

Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.

How fast is delivery in Pakistan?

Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
